How Local Reach Works
Local Reach is our local SEO package that can get your clients seen where it matters most. Unlike onsite SEO, Local Reach isn’t about optimizing a client’s website. Instead, it’s centered on offsite web directory listings, including Google My Business.
GBP Optimization and Management
A Google Business Profile is essentially a mini website that shows up when someone searches for your client by name or sees their business in Google Maps search results. Claiming and optimizing this listing is a must for being featured in local search results. It’s also important to continually update your client’s GBP with photos, updates, and helpful info, such as holiday business hours. Local Reach account setup includes a full audit of your client’s GBP, and ongoing monthly management includes 4 Google Business posts, which can highlight key products, services, seasonal promotions, recent projects, and other news about your business.
Directory Listing Management
There are numerous directories that exist on the web, and it’s important to have consistent info across these online listings. Using tools like Moz Local, we will ensure that all listings are claimed, current, and accurate—having consistent NAP (name, address, and phone number) data across different directories is one factor that Google considers when ranking businesses in local search results.
Our Local SEO Process
Before you place an order for local SEO account setup and monthly management, we recommend that your client has a verified Google Business listing. You will also need a Moz Local account with a Lite subscription for each location. Once you have these accounts set up, you’ll review the Local Reach intake form with your client to gather all the information we need to optimize their GPB and create a marketing plan for monthly posts.
With monthly Local Reach management, we can also provide white label reporting including Geogrid search performance metrics upon request.
